1.1 Applicable Product Types
This automatic switchgear production line and automatic switchgear assembly line are designed for mass production of high & low voltage switchgear cabinets. It is compatible with mainstream high voltage cabinets and low voltage distribution cabinets on the market and supports mixed-model assembly of multiple types. Widely applied in power distribution equipment manufacturing and mass production of complete electrical cabinets. Low voltage switchgear and medium voltage switchgear are core categories of complete power distribution switchgear. The applicable product list is as follows:
High voltage switchgear: KYN28, HXGN series metal-clad switchgear, ring main units; Low voltage switchgear: GGD, GCS, GCK, MNS low voltage distribution cabinets, power cabinets; Other supporting equipment: Box transformer enclosures, control cabinets, PLC electrical control cabinets and other complete electrical sheet metal cabinets. The system features strong versatility and wide application scenarios.
1.2 Assembly Technology of Switchgear Assembly Line
The switchgear assembly line of this project adopts heavy-duty roller traveling station flexible assembly technology, a mature intelligent mass production line for complete electrical cabinets. The whole line adopts modular and segmented continuous operation layout. With heavy-duty roller conveyor system as the core carrier and fixed tooling pallets, the system realizes automatic conveying, precise positioning and continuous transfer of switchgear cabinets between workstations. It solves common pain points of traditional single-station assembly: low efficiency, inconsistent assembly quality and difficult manual handling of heavy cabinets.
The whole switchgear production line can be equipped with pneumatic lifting manipulators for labor-saving hoisting and precise alignment assembly of heavy components including switchgear sheet metal cabinets, copper busbars, circuit breakers and insulating parts. It reduces labor intensity and mitigates safety risks during handling and assembly of heavy workpieces. Each workstation is equipped with customized positioning tooling and clamping mechanisms to guarantee consistency of assembly dimension, mounting hole position and busbar assembly precision for different models of switchgear.
The production line integrates roller automatic conveying, intelligent auxiliary assembly, tooling positioning, step-by-step inspection and finished product offloading. It standardizes and splits processes including switchgear cabinet pre-assembly, frame assembly, busbar fabrication & installation, switchgear component assembly, secondary wiring, insulation inspection, power-on commissioning and finished product discharging. It realizes continuous mass production on the switchgear assembly line, improves production tact and finished product pass rate, and meets large-scale standardized manufacturing requirements for conventional high & low voltage switchgear and intelligent distribution cabinets.
Loading Station: Hoist the sheet metal cabinet of switchgear onto the heavy-duty roller tooling pallet. Tooling clamps complete positioning and locking. The roller conveyor feeds the cabinet steadily into the switchgear production line to finish loading preparation.
Cabinet Frame Pre-assembly Station: Calibrate the cabinet and reinforce frame. Complete pre-assembly of base, mounting brackets, door panels and other structural parts to ensure structural strength and flatness of mounting surfaces.
Busbar Assembly Station: With the assistance of lifting manipulators, cut, bend, hoist and position copper busbars, align and fix busbars to cabinet, fit insulating components.
Component Assembly Station: Install and fix high / low voltage circuit breakers, current transformers, meters and other components, fasten conductive connections between components.
Secondary Wiring Station: Route secondary control circuits and signal cables. Complete wiring and marking of control cables.
Insulation & Power Commissioning Station: Carry out insulation performance test, circuit verification and internal cabinet cleaning.
Complete Machine Inspection Station: Perform loop resistance test, insulation test, power-on test and visual inspection. Repair non-conforming products on site to guarantee factory quality.
Finished Product Offline Station: Unlock qualified switchgear after inspection. Manipulator-assisted hoisting for finished product offline and warehousing. Empty tooling pallets automatically return to the starting station of the switchgear assembly line via roller circulation to achieve continuous cyclic production.
Applicable Product Size & Load Parameters: Custom dimensions available according to customer production requirements and switchgear models. Compatible with various high & low voltage switchgear and electrical control cabinets. Tooling pallet load capacity can be customized at 800kg, 1000kg, 1500kg or higher to cover heavy complete cabinet production.
Assembly Line Layout & Station Parameters: The number of workstations of the switchgear assembly line can be flexibly customized. Options include 4-station, 6-station, 8-station, 10-station and extended layouts. Total line length and routing can be personalized based on workshop space and production tact to fit different factory installation conditions.
Custom Configuration of Lifting Manipulators: Manipulator model, rated load and working radius can be customized. Vacuum suction cups, special grippers, lifting slings and other tooling can be quickly replaced for grabbing and assembling switchgear cabinets, copper busbars and switch components.
Heavy-duty Roller Conveyor Operating Parameters: Roller speed is steplessly adjustable to match production tact. Accumulation & buffer function can be added for ordered workpiece temporary storage. Control system supports dual-mode switching between manual commissioning and automatic continuous operation for equipment debugging and mass production.
Modular Tooling Fixtures: Equipped with quick-change customized tooling fixtures. Positioning jigs can be rapidly switched for different switchgear models, supporting mixed flexible production of multiple cabinet types without major modification of line structure, featuring strong versatility.
Intelligent Supporting Expansion Items: The switchgear production line supports multi-functional upgrading and expansion. Optional add-ons include product scanning traceability system, bolt torque monitoring system, on-line power-on test bench, safety protective fence, acousto-optic safety alarm device and workstation process display screen, to realize intelligent and digital upgrading of the production line.
